Algis Valiunas, a frequent contributor to The Weekly Standard, is a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He is also a contributing editor at the New Atlantis, where he writes about scientists’ lives.
He holds degrees from Dartmouth College, Trinity College (University of Cambridge), and the University of Chicago, where Saul Bellow was his doctoral dissertation adviser in the Committee on Social Thought.
He is the author of the book Churchill’s Military Histories.
